Ils offrent des performances barrière maximales et améliorent la résistance mécanique des revêtements. Ils permettent une meilleure applicabilité, réduisent les fissures et la migration des tâches dans les peintures décoratives. Dans les applications industrielles, ils apportent une excellente résistance à la corrosion. Imerys’ Mica MU™ grades are an extensive range of muscovite micas with lamellar particle structure. They provide maximum barrier performance and improve mechanical resistance in all coatings types. Mica MU™ improves workability and reduces cracking, and supports corrosion resistance in protective and marine applications. Both the mining of the feedstock, which comes from Imerys’ own deposits, and the processing are carried out in Europe in compliance with the highest quality and CSR standards.
